About Us8th Grade Social Studies is the 2nd year of a 2year course on American History. Our curriculum in 8th Grade takes us from The American Civil War through to Modern America. Some major topics of study include World War I and World War II, The Great Depression and The Cold War.
Although there is not a NYS Exam in 8th Grade Social Studies, Mr. Cota's class is designed to challenge students in order to prepare them for the 2 Social Studies Regents Exams they must pass in High School. To be successful in Mr. Cota's class students must be vigilant, organized and prepared. Good luck this year! |
